5 Placings in Essen Herbergen. 4 of our Young Talents in the Top 4!

Competition

The June 10-14th CDN at Gestut Sprehe in Essen Herbergen brought together numerous top names amongst riders and horses. From Queen Isabelle to a Young Horse World Championship Bronze Medalist and several Bundeschampionate Medalists, every class had remarkable participants eager to demonstrate the training of the last months.

First competition for Bon Couleur and Andréa: 4th Place with 8,1. Bon Couleur (Bon Coeur x Don Index x Stedinger) impressed the judges with his quality gates and exceptional disposition. They were awarded 8,5 for trot, 8 for canter, 7,5 for walk, 8,5 for submission and 8 for perspective. A great start for this 4 year old that has been in our stables since he has two and a half.

Second competition for Powerpoint and Andréa: 2nd Place with 9,0. Powerpoint (by Dark President x Sandro Song x Rohdiamant) definitely deserves his name – with a 9 for trot and canter, a 9,5 for walk, a 8,5 for submission and a 9 for perspective, he just continues to improve and impress. A superstar that will certainly go on to achieve outstanding results, and Andréa feels there is still much more power to release!

Expression and Andréa: 4th Place with 8,2. Expression (Ehrenstolz x Basic x Mon Chéri) showed his energetic, elastic and fluid gates and was presented with 8,5 in trot, canter, submission and perspective! At first hesitant to show the next level up, Andrea decided to participate in the L class and was placed 6th with a 9 for the trot round. We are so pleased by the evolution of this bundle of bounce.

Belaggio and Andréa – Nürnberger Burgpokal qualifier: 10th place with 69,854% in the St Georg Special. Belaggio (Bellisimo M x Ehrentanz x Florestan I) continues his incredible results, and was qualified for the second round of the Essen Herbergen Final Qualification for the Nürnberger Burgpokal (the official German Developing Prix St Georges Horse circuit for horses between 7 and 9 years of age – there are 12 qualifications over the season and the Finals will be held in Frankfurt in December). In our stables since he turned 4, Belaggio is three times Belgian Young Horse Champion, a two times Bundeschampionate finalist and currently achieving exceptional results in the Prix St Georges circuit. Truly a dream horse, brilliantly trained at a pace that is respectful of his well being; Belaggio maintains his energy, willingness and enthusiasm to give his best to the rider.

Warmest congratulations to all four horses and to Andréa who continues to expertly train the horses with all her knowledge and heart.
